Introduction

We at Android Secrets respect our users' privacy and are committed to protecting their data. This policy explains what we collect (and what we don't), and how you can control your choices inside the app.

Our app complies with Google Play policies and Google AdMob policies.

What data does the app collect?

1. Data stored locally on your device only

• Your favorite articles list.
• Your preferred language (auto-detected from your phone).
• Dark mode and font size preferences.

This data is never sent to any server and we cannot access it.

2. Data collected by our ads provider (Google AdMob)

The app uses Google AdMob to keep development free for users. AdMob may collect certain data per Google's privacy policy, including:

• Your device's Advertising ID.
• IP address and general technical data (device type, OS, language).
• Ad interaction (impressions/clicks).
• Approximate location (country/city level) to serve relevant ads.

3. What we never collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or phone number.
• We do not require sign-in and do not have user accounts.
• We do not access contacts, messages, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not track your precise (GPS) location.

Permissions requested by the app

Permission	Reason
INTERNET	To load ads only.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	To check connectivity before requesting an ad.
AD_ID	To show relevant ads (you can reset/disable it in your phone settings).

The app does not request any sensitive permissions (location, camera, microphone, contacts, private storage).

Ads inside the app

We use three Google AdMob ad types in a thoughtful, non-intrusive way:

• Banner: A small bar at the bottom that does not cover article content.
• Interstitial: Shown occasionally after browsing several articles, with a cool-down period to avoid disrupting the user.
• Native: A clearly labeled "Ad" card inside article lists, matching the app's design.

You can opt out of personalized ads via: Phone Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of personalized ads, or reset your Advertising ID.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. Ad content rating is set to PG (suitable for everyone).

Data Security

Because the app does not send any personal data to our servers, there is no database on our side that could be breached. All your preferences are stored locally on your device and can be cleared by clearing app data or uninstalling.

Your Rights

• You can delete all local data instantly by uninstalling the app.
• You can control ads via your phone's Google settings.
• You can contact us anytime for privacy-related questions.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date at the top.
